No matter who the coach is next year I think we need to look for a JC Qb that can play right away. Can redshirt the freshmen Qbs, and Higgins/Young can be backups. Unless one improves over the offseason. Obviously OL will be a question mark as well. I've seen post on here about talent. Minus the quarterback, I think we will have some pretty good skilled players on offense. Receivers...Turner(probably be the best we have), I think DeClouette will continue to improve, I think Johnson has the potential, Taylor, and Lee. Running backs...Dixon, King, and Martin isn't a bad third back at all. I think we have the playmakers. We just need someone to get them the ball, and an offense that fits their strengths.

Yes, CAL is 1-11. But the "football" they are playing is a hell of a lot more exciting than the crap Skip Holtz is serving up. And next year, Dykes' QB will no longer be a freshman. But Dykes' 3rd year --2015-- is the one to watch out for. It was the same here at Tech, and there's no reason to think Dykes won't win at CAL in his 3rd season as well.

Heck, he won in his 2nd year here - seems like he took us to a bowl game that wasn't held in Shreveport also.

LA Tech on the other hand, plays a shitty schedule and is still driving people away in droves by playing B-O-R-I-N-G football. Can't really judge by this year. As we get better at QB, I think it will be more entertaining. I believe we will see more uptempo as our QB gets better at presnap reads and his decisonmaking.
