I see where we received 1 vote in the AP poll and 2 votes in the coaches poll this week!
Nice! Would be a great time to break into the top 25
We are up to 3 votes in the Coaches Poll this week.

Well let's see if we can break the 0-3 streak we have when we receive votes in polls this year...
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Tech received 2 points in the AP Poll this week, Old Dominion received 5. Iowa received 85 points to take # 25 in the poll. Keep winning and the top 25 could be within reach by the end of the season.

We could be ranked in the top 10, lose in the finals of the C-USA tournament and still not get an at large.
Well, maybe not top 10, but we would not be the first top 20 team to be left out as and at large.
TV announcers always talk about how great the teams are when they are announcing a game so you gotta take anything they say with a ton of salt, but one recently said he could see up to 3 C-USA teams in the NCAA tournament. I'm not buying it myself, but I guess we'll see.
One can't interpret or spin this anyway but good for Tech guys.
Really we could be in the top 20 and get left out, while the A10 would get 6 teams in. The A10 Better not get over 4 spots at the most. I friggin hope that conference sucks blue balls the rest of the season.
I'm wondering if the committee would consider Tech's body of work over a three year period if Tech has close to 30 wins this season, but doesn't win the conference tournament. Tech would have shown it is a quality program, but just didn't win the conference tournament. How many undefeated teams are in the tournament - maybe a maximum of 1 or 2 a year? But hopefully Tech will win the conference tournament and it won't even be an issue.
And back to receiving no points next week.![]()
NCAA Selection Committee? No. At this point, we barely make the Nitty Gritty Sheet (Top 105 RPI teams) at No. 103.
With that RPI, we won't even get a look by the NIT Selection Committee. The only way we'll even get selected by the NIT is if we are the No. 1 seed in the C-USA Tourney to get the C-USA auto bid. That's how bad our resume looks right now.
CBI or CIT Selection Committee? I hope so.
