I get this is a fan board, and we're all supposed to be a little irrational, but the hate on the "local media" is a bit ridiculous. Sean Isabella worked his ass off on this story. I know he worked multiple sources, got stonewalled by Tech and Mike saying they weren't commenting, but still did a great job getting the story.
