This is why games aren't played on paper. I think we'll do better than 3 wins (hoping for at least 6). Team already looks better than last season and that's not even including the new players we're getting in the fall. Hopefully, teams will overlook us because of this perception and it can sneak us in a couple more W's

. Agree--I am more focused on ULL than any early game. It will show where program is. Can we suit Tim up? Last time we played them, he was Qb and we kicked them pretty good . ( they recognized Jake at halftime-- more Tech fans than Ull fans at game). They are ranked about 50 spots ahead of us right now. Remember, we were ranked pretty good last year -- then season started. Dixon will be key in my opinion.

They have Marshall and North Texas at 12-0

. Last year it was Tulsa as team to beat-- hopefully our stars will stay healthy this year

Agree. No way we get by Texas. Too many key seniors graduated. 6-6 is more reasonable, but will depend on the quality of backups and redshirts from last season.

Do you guys realize that whoever this clown was had us #33 going 12-0 last season? Also had eventual NC team Auburn at #104 going 1-11.

Anybody can buy a website, fellas. Want me to set one up that has us in the top 10? I'm sure I can come up with some sort of algorithm that gets us that high.

We played them once since, in Ruston, and barely won. I think they were driving for the go-ahead score but ran out of time. I remember feeling like we were about to lose that game.
I have a hard time believing they have more talent than us. A loss to ULL is unacceptable.

Babbitt (?) was their QB that year. He was driving and our defense was gassed. But the Cajuns were out of time outs and just couldn't get the last snap off in time.

I remember it was a fun game, the close call notwithstanding. Several Cajun fans that post on this board made a point to visit the BB&B tailgate
