More self-congratulating up in this thread than actual praise for the bulldogs.

. I know-- you have been on board from day one. Us old folks could not adjust to folks saying they "hated coach" "coach is Idiot" "stupid coach" etc. just wanted to be the "sunshine jumper"-- which was posted as insult.

We have been up and down over the years. But, we don't speak bad of the coaches or players.....especially after only one season!!!!

I am more than happy to be wrong about Holtz. However, he still has a lot to prove to me. This win helped, but I'm still not convinced. I'm getting there.

. He's got nothing to prove to me. Lifetime winning record - couple of CUSA championships and teams ranked in top 20. His recruiting of coaches and players has been excellent. 2 years from now he and much of staff will probably be gone but his recruits will still be playing. I am staying happy and optimistic-- been feeling good about this year since signing day. Diaz turned it up a notch for me. Kinda cool to see my expectations happened. Posted we would have shot at 3-2 --

. You were never down on team. I made it my goal to respond to the negative posts -- no coach could have done much with last yrs team. Holtz went and got what he needed-- Gaston-- Sokol-Bates--Diaz. He is also recruited kids for future. Odds are we will have an off week and blue birds will come out-- but future looks solid to me .

Yes credit is due to Hotlz, I'm assuming Rattay had a lot do with Sokol after hearing that Sokol is from Scottsdale and played for Rattay's dad.

Thanks, but I cannot accept. Everyone outside of Tech saw that disaster coming last year. Y'all wanted to poo poo losing 17 starters and 32 players as "excuses." It's HUUUUGGGEEE. It takes time to rebuild and Holtz has done it very quickly. Faster than I thought he could. But having Sokol at QB helped him immensely! It's about the players! But Holtz did a TREMENDOUS job adjusting our offense to fit our strengths. He has exceeded my expectations.

Cool the jets on the self-promoting, 65, you're starting to sound like you think you single-handedly turned the ship around by your contributions and positive ju-ju. I think I'll properly lay the credit where it's due, coaching staff and players, regardless of which fan wavered with concern or which fan stood steadfast hoping against hope. Kudos to the staff and players for these two 2014 wins.

. Understand, the praise for Bulldogs has been my Mantra for months. Been saying nothing but praise for team---coach and staff. Read my post at 11 today. I said we could blow NT out. Hunter - Dixon-Sokol- turner would have great games. Posted IF we got up early we would take them out of game and it would be blow out. I am not congratulating myself, ok gloating a little , but you would need to read the posts I have done praising our bulldogs and the negative response I received-- pretty euphoric right now

Yes, but your fandom was never questioned and you never questioned the fandom of those who call you a sunshine pumper. Some understand and appreciate the vast difference in personalities represented on this board.
