As for attendance, I don't expect a big crowd from NW State. They have no delusions that they can hang with us. That rivalry is long long gone and never will return. I guess 300 from them, but it would be great if they brought their band.

I'm not sure about attendance. At first I thought they'd bring 5-7,000 folks. Yesterday, my son was selling popcorn for Cub Scouts, and I guy wearing Demon gear walks up. I asked if he was going to Ruston on Saturday. 1st - he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. Then he said, why would I want to see that (I'm guessing he expects NSU to get creamed).

I was in Natchitoches this weekend. I didn't see a single person, other than a baseball coach and a few NSU players, wearing NSU attire. I saw hundreds sporting LSU apparel.

It was the Meatpie festival or something like that. So, that could have been the reason

I live here in Natchitoches and I agree with your post. Most NSU fans go to a game to SEE and BE SEEN. They are mostly LSU fans and leave the stadium at halftime.....no matter what the score.

I think the team will really be fired up after playing three games on the road and will be ready to play in front of the home fans. This game will be over by halftime. Dixon will have at least one TD over 50 yards and Sokol throws for 300 yards and 4 TD's.

I am comfortable with this. I think evry kid in uniform might get a chance to play. Coach has shown willingness to give up cheap points at end to get experience ( which ok with me). Like he says, its a long year and experience is best teacher for second-third string. figure Dixon for 8yards per carry average-- Long way from celebrating State fair victories -- Bradshaw to Liberto still celebarated by old dogs as #1 in last 50 years--kind of forget it was a "rival" game with Demons
