Anbody with Monroe/WM Comcast watch the game? The few folks I"ve talked to so far said it did not come on.
You can watch most of Tech's games. You just choose to stay subscribed to one of the only pay TV providers in the country that does not offer CBS Sports Network. Why? We've been telling you for over a year that you need to change pay TV providers to watch Tech. I would feel sorry for you if you really couldn't watch our games, but you can. Until you decide to switch to a different provider, you will continue to have this problem.

The solution is simple. Either upgrade your U-verse subscription, or switch pay TV providers to something else that doesn't make you purchase the highest tier to get CBSSN or the ASN affiliate. Don't complain to us that you can't get our games on TV when you can. You just choose not to subscribe to a package that offers Tech games. It is no secret we play numerous times on CBS Sports Network and now ASN every year in football and basketball.
And I'll get around to it I guess sooner or later. But, the fact that you have to work to find the damn games is pretty horrible. I use to have LSU fans at work come and talk to me about Tech games they caught flipping through channels. You know how much that has happened since this new contract . . . nada.
With the WAC, it was either on a Wed/Thurs/Fri night or the really late night window for a road game on the west coast. C-USA can't offer TV networks the late night windows like the WAC could and the MWC can. The downsides to those late night WAC games on ESPN/ESPN2 were that they were too late to make the deadlines for our local news stations and newspapers and too late for some of our fans to stay up.
Nobody has every flipped through the channels and found us or anybody else on ESPN3 because you can't. It's not real TV. It's a lot more trouble for people to watch us on ESPN3.com than it is for them to find C-USA's TV partners.
CBSSN is pretty standard for most people. It's available to about 97% of pay TV subscribers (like Houston Techsan) if they so choose. Your provider is part of the 3% that doesn't offer CBSSN to its subscribers. I have no clue what your provider's (Cox, right?) problem is, but I would ditch them ASAP.
The only games that are hard to find are the ASN games because it's a brand new syndicated network. Those games on ASN would not be televised at all had Sinclair not just launched that network a couple months ago, and you'd only be able to watch them online by paying $15/month for the C-USA All-Access package. All other games like the ones on FS1, CBSSN, FSN, and FCS should be easy for anybody to find. Those channels are listed on pretty much every Tech game schedule, and the channel numbers can easily be found on any channel guide if they don't know them nor have them saved to favorites.
The premiere year of Sinclair/ASN sux at this point.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
Did someone say C=USA streams the Sinclair project?

No. There was no online streaming available.
I agree T. I had to listen to All-Access. When the games are on Fox,... things are GREAT. When it is only on an ASN affiliate- suck city.
Surely this will be rectified for next year.
We need to get some answers before the UAB game.
- Why was there no online streaming for those out-of-market?
- Why was game was blacked out in some areas like Charlotte?
- Why was game was taken off Comcast guide, specifically in Monroe?
- Why was game not on CST? (Was that the channel they were showing the Big South on in Ruston?)
- Why is there no Monroe/ElDo affiliate?
What else?
