I don't see how anyone says that the better team lost. Marshall's QB, receivers, and special teams players were clearly better than Tech's. If it wasn't for turnovers and Tech's defense, this game would not have been close.

Great effort by the team today!! We had a kicker out there that our coaches have no confidence in. We had an offense on the field that our coaches never trusted. You did all you could with what you were given.

This is all on Holtz. Yes Sokol disappeared in the big game. But we were in it. Kicking from that range after we already missed a PAT is ludicrous. Field position would have been key. Holtz blew it. Called the entire game scared.

Diaz and Dixon stepped up today. Sokol, who had a good year and was also a contributor to our success, sucked today. Holtz was just Holtz. Needed a good game from Sokol and WRs. Didn't get it.
