Now that the 2002 football season is over, can we concentrate on the coaching staff?

If Jack Bicknell III is to remain our head coach, PLEASE back off and let him be the coach. This includes having complete control of the selection of staff members. It should be all to apparent by now that the group of good ol` boys are not getting the job done. Just because you graduated from Tech, you’re drinking buddies with the elite, or you’re on good terms with the three previously mentioned does not qualify one’s coaching potential.

PLEASE, STOP playing politics and let JBIII run the football program. Even if it means cleaning house, and starting over (yes Sam can retire, and Jackson, Hines, Perot, Malo, and Ciano and the others can move elsewhere). Then, this time next year we can evaluate JBIII’s program. A program HE chooses and HE then is responsible for.

In short, you gave JBIII an extended contract, now get out of his business and let’s see if he is worth what you pay him. If not, then it’s time for him to move on as well.

And don't wait until June, we need action TODAY.
