I am fine with red on occasion in basketball. Out Blue and white identity is pretty well established over the course of 32 regular season games.

Is this not determined beforehand? As in, if the home team wants to wear non-home jerseys (not white) then the visitor has to grant permission? I think its like this in football.

Home and visitor jerseys can be white, Techster/UCLA blue, gold, orange, gray . . . pick your poison.


Last time we played at El Paso in football, for a home uniform they wore a light traveling gray (with orange helmets) that IMHO did NOT contrast enough with Tech's white (with red helmets.).

Ok, thought I heard for football it was more or less set.

Yea, would have been much better had they worn orange, and we could wear red, and that would contrast great on TV

Interesting, I just got my new LTAC shirt in the mail and was a bit surprised to find out it was cardinal Red??
I guess if I was in town it would be awesome for the Red out football and basketball games but you would think they would have sent out LaTech blue???
