As the September 5 weekend approaches, many SU loyalists will visit this forum. They will talk smack; they will shuck and jive; and they will anger and rattle you. Let me admonish you though that this will all be in good taste. No harm will be intended at all! We are grateful just to be on the same football field with such a fine university as Louisiana Tech. By the time the gridiron date is over, you will know everything you need to know about SU, and we will know the same about you. Believe it or not, not a lot is known about LA Tech at SU or in Baton Rouge, generally. Some fans, for example, didn't know that Tech was a FBS school. But they know now! Dr.Ray Belton, President of the Southern University System & Chancellor of the Baton Rouge campus, Dr. William Broussard, Athletics Director, and Mr. Dawson Odums, Head Football Coach, will lead a contingent of thousands onto the Louisiana Tech campus as early as Friday, September 4, 2015. You need to be prepared for an onslaught of die-hard visitors. Please be prepared!
