Trump soared to the top of the GOP polls largely by making disparaging remarks about Hispanics. That's a good way to endear yourself to the Republican base and win the nomination but not a good game plan to capture the critical Hispanic vote and win the election.

Whether he gets very far in the primaries, at LEAST Donald Trump is saying things that everybody else is too scared (or "PC") to say. The guy is scoring BIG in almost every demographic because he calls it like he sees it.

He's even polling in the 30+% range among Hispanic-Americans. Why? Because they know he is telling the truth about ILLEGAL immigration. Pitbull's and George Lopez's grandstanding means NOTHING to the good folks in deep South Texas who deal with this nonsense DAILY.

I will give Donald Trump respect for being willing to say what is on his mind and for stating his opinions as truthfully and as un-PC a way as possible. I like the fact that Trump is actually fighting and going after politicians and the press when they criticize him instead of ignoring it or apologizing for what he said like other GOP politicians would (i.e. McCain, Romney or any other GOP establishment politician)

I'm not saying I would vote for Trump in the GOP primary, but I would vote for him over a lot of the other GOP contenders right now.
