Before this thread gets TOO off track.....again .......I have an open question:

Does Southern University have more than about four (4) fans? I think I've only seen Statboy, Earle and maybe one or two others on this thread all summer. Seems like slim pickens (yes, you can insert photo of the actor here) to me.

There was some discussion somewhere about how much we are paying SU to come to Ruston. According to The Advocate, whatever that is, we guaranteed $350,000. Georgia gave them $650,000.

Shocked that it wasn't $500,000 and 5000 ticket allotment. But hey, our sources suck, so.........

I spoke to a LA Tech athletic Dept representative YESTERDAY, and confirmed that Southern fans have purchased slightly over 3K tickets so far. Period. I'm sure that by the time some SU fans purchase their tickets from LA Tech, they'll be bringing between 4K and 5K to the game. Still very good, but not near as many as we travel to Rice.

Our fans are notorious at waiting until the last minute, I will admit! Next week will bring a flood of calls to the Tech Ticket Office. SU fans will purchase or seek to purchase more than 4000 tickets wwithin the next 8 days.

You can't bring 7k in because tech will have more than 21. More like 25.
