    Parking around the Joe

Looking at the aerial pics noticed no cars along Bulldog Dr/Stadium Blvd; should create more parking tag demand as those who would show up early and street park will be out of luck. Also, could possibly look at reducing the band lot area in the future if needed, as a former BOP and Tuba player this isn't easy to say but it's very doable (Members park at/around band hall and shuttle them over, or march over).

not sure where the issue is.....I'll stand by my nearly decade old stance...LaTech has some of the best, if not the best, on campus parking in the nation. You are greatly rewarded with parking benefits as an LTAC member. If LTAC is not an option, there are several, several, several pay for parking areas within 1 mile of the stadium...all reasonably priced.

I have been to two games at LSU with a parking pass - what a total nightmare. Try a game in Austin, Texas when the Longhorns are playing...you better be donating big money to even get in the zip code of that stadium. Heck, I can still remember as a kid having to park deep in the golf course for an Arky game at WMS. And I wont even bring up the nightmare at Bama....but I will say it was a significant hike...significant.

The only real parking issue I have ever had was the overflow of B parking passes against NWSTU in 2014. I'll start to worry if parking is never improved and we have expanded the stadium to 40,000. If that happens, they will have to contra flow Tech Drive in and everything else out 3 hours before kickoff.

yes. We had to remove the plumes from our hats for the march over so were not targeted by teradactyls.

I do believe we have great parking options, however, I'm a hardcore fan and would walk two miles (but I don't). We are not LSU/Texas where people are going to show up no matter- we need to accommodate the casual fan. We need shuttles (even if its hiring lincoln parish bus drivers) getting fans from on-campus parking.

My wife and I parked at Wyly Tower so we could walk around campus before going over to the stadium. It's not a bad hike at all. Took us about 15 minutes to get to and from the stadium, and getting off campus is a breeze when you're that far away from the stadium. Parking is the least of our worries if we're looking for something to complain about.

Yes. Parking on campus is an underrated option. Should be promoted (I think they did).

Parking pass = stadium parking lot.
Paid parking = Ruston High etc.
    Free parking = campus.

Have a sign at the Tech drive exit.

Get there outside of 3 hrs to kickoff and you can get free parking near the STAC. I'm in a Seinfeld episode when it comes to finding a great parking spot.

George: I hate this mall, there are never any spaces here...
Kramer: Why don't you park in front of the hydrent?
George: What if there's a fire?
Kramer: Now what are the chances of that?
