@FletchWorldWide: @LATechFB HC @LATechSHoltz: there's a lot of neat things going on with this team right now
@FletchWorldWide: @LATechFB HC @LATechSHoltz: up 35-10 at the half, lets just not do anything stupid in second half...
@FletchWorldWide: @LATechFB HC @LATechSHoltz: Bryson Abraham did a great job breaking on the ball...
@FletchWorldWide: @LATechFB HC @LATechSHoltz on Rice game Friday: it takes away from the HS games and communities... Don't want to infringe on that
@FletchWorldWide: @LATechFB HC @LATechSHoltz: we have talked about exactly where we are... Win this week? Next weeks' bigger. Win then? Next weeks bigger
@FletchWorldWide: @LATechFB HC @LATechSHoltz: Rice has the number one rush offense in CUSA, we have number one rush defense. Something has to give

Wow, I hope he means that. I agree that with a stable coaching staff, something special can be built here. Need more buy-in from the locals though... maybe if something special is built, that can come around.
Locals are not the problem -
The problem is there are NO locals - I really don't think 90% of y'all understand the demographics of North LA along the I-20 corridor or La in general
No better example is Baton Rouge when they hosted South Carolina - a top 15 team hosting a conference foe and less than 50% of the seats are filled
No people, depressed economy, fewer extra $$$ available for entertainment purposes let alone necessary expenses

I think we could begin to grow if we could just consistently get the Southern, ULL, and NW State crowds... 23-27K.... and 18K when it rains. The next step would be drawing more from out of the area like LSU does. What is our base right now... maybe 18K? I think a consistent winner could increase that to at least 23K. And if we ever got Boise/TCU good, I think there are a lot of football fans in our area (Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi) who would jump on the bandwagon and come to the games. We have gotten some good turnouts in our Shreveport games at times.
