I dont hate lsu. I despise alums from other schools who support lsu over their own alma mater.

and here I thought you were a die hard Capitalist-- my attitude is focus on businesses that support Tech as much as possible, Khols, Canes, Kroger , my Retina specialist all have way too much LSU s...
I have no problem with those that support their school-it's the losers that went somewhere else and don't support that school that I hate. I saw a man in an LSU shirt this week claiming he was a TECH grad. I assured him we wiped his name from the rolls the same way he had when he wore that shirt, and he should please keep that quiet-he was an embarrassment.
Another thread tells how Dick's in Shreveport has a good supply of Tech gear. That was not always the case. Some BBB regulars may recall me telling of going into The Shrevrport Dick's and filling a cart with big ticket items; and then going to the checkout stand and saying, "I only came in to get a Louisiana Tech shirt - where are they?" And when they said, "we don't have any", I'd say, "well forget it then, you can keep all of this if you don't support Louisiana Tech - I'll shop at Academy."
Now I'm not saying I had a lot to do with Dick's deciding to stock Tech items, but I can say that on two seperate occasions they had to restock the contents of full shopping carts after hearing me complain about their lack of respect for my university.
Also my family recently walked out of a resaurant that had an lsu item on the wall, after the manager came over and told me he had no intention of putting up any Tech items.
These are the kind of things I started this thread about. As an example, no Louisiana Tech supporter should have an account at Capital One Bank.
There is a nice selection of Tech merchandise in WM at Academy. Now there is a greater amount of lsu merchandise but it's more 75 25 compared to like 95 5 for most of the past. Further, there is not a ULM section. They have a few cups but no shirts.
Raising Canes, founder and CEO Todd Graves, attended LSU and professes that he "bleeds purple and gold".
His post said those places have way too much lsu
The irony of this is that Raising Canes is an official Louisiana Tech Cornerstone Partner listed on the Athletic Department main page.
