Jindal out of race. No shocker there. Probably needed to save some of his dwindling "war chest" for his lavish lifestyle.

Remember John Beaux retiring as Senator and everyone assuming he would run guv-nar. But after accumulating many $millions in donations, he didn't run. Used that money to buy a bigger beach house in the Bahamas. I know, because he told me so. Perfectly legal too.

Not true as Jindal already had money. Good for him!!

Gov. Bobby Jindal has 26 investment accounts and at least two bank accounts worth somewhere between $3.9 million and $11.3 million, according to an analysis done by Reuters.
Jindal has earned income between $401,000 and $675,00 during the last 17 months -- including a $76,000 advanced payment for the book he is planning to publish this fall. Reuters reported Jindal earning a $200,000 salary from the state of Louisiana during this time period. This makes sense, given that Jindal's annual salary as Louisiana's governor is $130,000.

    Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign

    Anymore?

Well, at one time, donations made to anyone's political campaign were made with no strings attached. That meant the candidate could spend it on his/her campaign, or buy his/her child a new car. It was, of course, income, for which the candidate had to pay taxes on, which was offset by the deductions of spending on the campaign. So, if a candidate received $2 million in donations and spent $1 million on the campaign, that remaining $million is all income subject to all taxes.

That's the way it was back in the 1990's when then Senator John Breaux told me....more than that, he showed me pics of his beach house he was buying...he was not running for guv-nar and would instead empty his political war chest on personal spending. Well, just to clarify, it's NOT like he told me, and only me. He was confiding in lots of folks back then. As I said, it was all legal....back then. Apparently, that has changed.

    Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign

As early as 1995 it was not legal to use the money in any other way than campain puposes. They can give it to another candidate (up to a certain amount) or give it to charities, but if they spend it on anything other than those or campaining it is illegal. Louisiana has always been corrupt with that sort of thing, bending the rules and such.

Trump supporters in Alabama attack a BLM protester/heckler. Trump eggs them on and tells security to get the BLM protester/heckler out. Everyone there cheers it on. Great showing for Republicans.

Trump has handed the election to the Democrats. No amount of distancing by any of the other Republican candidates will actually distance them. We're screwed.

You've bought in to what the talking heads are saying. People are SICK of the GOP status-quo. People are SICK of Muslims and our Muslim president. Hillary is hated.

Wrong! Trumps poll numbers will increase because of the truth and ideas he has expressed. He was dead on correct 2 days ago.

Trump and Cruz should breeze through this process because they know in their gut and heart, and say, exactly what the American people are thinking.

This is the second of Trump's big time unconstitutional suggestions. If he's attempting to lampoon the right, he's doing a great job. A vote for Trump is no different than a vote for Obama in a constitutional sense. They both agree that it should be changed to align with their desires.

George Will's question from late summer continues to ring in my ears, "If Trump was a democrat plant to hand the presidency to their candidate, what would he do differently?"

As of right now, I can't think of a single thing.

I agree 100% with Trump's total comment and subsequent interviews. Temporarily ban all muslims from entering our country until "we figure out what the hell is going on". I am on board for that one.
It's no different then what FDR and Jimmy freaking Carter did.

The GOP is blowing this as they should be on the same page. Don't believe the lame street media and go all PC on us! Trump is winning this issue with the American people and is right!.
