Pretty sure Rattay was already coaching the QBs...at least he did a lot of coaching on the sidelines during games. I suppose that could have been because the OC/QB coach was upstairs, but I doubt it.

Petersen should get the credit for developing Sokol and Driskel. He may have been upstairs for 3 hours on game day, but he spent a lot of time in practice with the QBs (and film study).

I remember running into him at the bar after the Fresno State win in '08. He had been benched but was totally jazzed to be on Tech's roster and part of the team. Regardless of talent, he was an asset on that team
