    Still wide open.
Yes, but this is not what was expected.

Iowa shows that there is hope. They are an otherwise moderate voting base who went conservative and recognized that Clinton is what she is.

    Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign

Went like I thought it would.

Trump had a lead in the polls, but it's your organization, on the ground, that wins in Iowa and Cruz had the best. He had 12,000 volunteers working in Iowa. Trump had a total of 500. That was it. Rubio's surge was very predictable.

Huckabee won Iowa in 2008 and Santorum won in 2012. But neither got the nomination. Now, Cruz is different than those two. Cruz has a legit shot at winning the nomination.

Trump is heavily favored to win NH, and he is leading in the polls. But, that lead will shrink, and if he wins, it's gonna be a whole lot closer than the huge lead he has enjoyed there. I think Rubio might break thru and take South Carolina. If so, that'll give us three different winners in the first three contests, and then it's game on.

On the 'crap side, the 50-50 split was also very predictable. Hillary needed the win, even if it was close. Like a basketball team hitting a 3 at the buzzer to escape 70-69. It's a "W." Sanders will win NH, but after that, I can't see Hillary not winning most of the primaries. Sanders might snag Nevada. Not that it matters to decency and goodness. Either Hillary or Sanders brings evil socialism to the table, enslaving people, murdering babies, destroying America, and aiding the world's thugs to win. Only difference between the two is Sanders openly admits it.

Rubio did better than the Bern and the B$$$$. Obummer won Iowa in 2012. Looks like the country is fed up with socialism.

I have a feeling Rubio is going to be the winner, and I'm good with that. The establishment is going to jump on his bandwagon and Cruz is going to get beat up by the media. Rubio will appoint Ted Cruz to the Supreme Court when he's president. win/win.

He's got more to fear than getting beat up by the media, he is known as the "the most hated man in the Senate" for good reason. But don't listen to what I say, just watch.

I know. Republicans hate him because he's a Tea Party conservative. The establishment thinks only a moderate Republican can win the presidency, despite all the losses by the moderate Republicans.

Bill tried to cheer up Hillary this morning by reminding her that Nelson Mandela wasn't elected president until after he had served 27 years in prison...

What about the Cruz/Carson controversy? I thought there was nothing to it and then Cruz apologized. Seems a little skeezy to me. I like most of what Cruz says, but I just don't like him. Just something about him rubs me the wrong way.

His camp screwed up. He apologized and admitted the mistake. I thought it was refreshing for him to admit the mistake and take credit for the mistake.

His anti-establishment stances will haunt him. I love his "Washington Cartel" references. Bob Dole hating on him...gotta love that.
