When the customer service rep, still standing at the counter, says, "I'm off the clock, sorry."
Where I have worked, that would be followed by, "You're fired."

Concentration. Errr, consternation.
Whatever.
Like when it's midnight and you can't poop.
Knowing there are books I want to read, but not remembering what they are.
Books adopting movie poster for their cover.
Having to cut the crust off of my kids sandwich bread. It's all bread, just eat it!
Service departments that try to take advantage of women (my wife) by trying to sell them things they don't need. Needless to say, the service manager at the Ford dealership in Shreveport will probably run and hide in his office the next time he sees my car pull in.
Yeah, my daughters are already leery of oil change places for forcing unneeded things like air filters and such. Warned them years ago to never buy more than I instructed. It's amazing that some of these guys will take advantage of people.
Reminds me of a peeve post I saw on FB this week about the "services" offered to flood victims. Slight paraphrase... "To those who are offering sympathy and services to flood victims at regular prices during this difficult time..."
I had just seen a post from a guy I know who was hawking business for Serve Pro.
Apple not thinking about battery life until after they push their update. First time for me.
I hate it when the spring game is before tax day, though that's normally what happens. But this year the city of Washington DC observes Emancipation Day (which is actually Saturday the 16th) on Friday April 15th. It's a local holiday, not Federal but because they observe it, all the Federal offices in DC are closed so Tax Day is Monday April 18th.
If not for that, I'd be there. I know some folks appreciate the extra time to procrastinate on doing their taxes, but it means four more days of work for me and my staff. And I miss a spring game I would have gone to. It just doesn't seem right that one city should hold that kind of sway over the rest of the country.
