Trump kind of reminds me of President Camacho
That's really way more like Obama's ego if he could get away with it on national TV.

Jeb Bush is horribly weak at debating.

Trump is too, but when one refuses to follow debate rules they can get away saying anything,

That might be true, but Trump totally obliterates Bush in the latest South Carolina poll and that's all that matters.

Those numbers are from before the debate. Trump will lose some steam because of the debate. His Bush conspiracy theories may cost him the win. Many of his followers, however, seem dramatically detached from reality.

The talking heads seem to agree. I was totally turned off by the, "my Mother..., my Father..., my Brother talk". I also believe voters are tired of Trump's tactics. He came across very bad with his liberal democrat talking points last night.

Rubio presented a better defense of W than Jeb did. I thought Jeb did a good job on the eminent domain exchange. Donald got flustered and Jeb didn't wilt...like he's been wilting. I don't see him picking up any votes because of it, but I think it's very possible that Trump lost SC last night.

I think SC will be a good sampling of what we can expect later.

I agree with these comments. I actually like Rubio more last night. And I still think Governor Kasich is the most experienced and better prepared one to be President plus he brings Ohio.
The Ticket: Rubio bringing Florida with Kasich bringing Ohio would be interesting and a possible unstoppable winning ticket. We will always get the Texas vote. They are more Presidential, younger and high energy IMHO although more moderate. Obviously I like Cruz in all categories but still wonder if he could pull it off with his TV persona and whiny voice. Trump is getting more pompous (if possible), a tad old and stale right now to me.

I'm starting to lose any favor or leaning I had toward Trump.

DOUBLING DOWN: Trump threatens suit against Cruz, demands RNC
step in — or 'the pledge' is void?

Yes, he did. Watch to see if Rubio can finish second. If he holds on and picks up the bulk of Bush's votes, it's a dead heat. Rubio needs Kasich gone ASAP.

    Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign

Being almost 50 and seeing a the terrible republican nominees other than Reagan, I am still in the Trump camp. I could get behind Cruz but I don't trust Rubio. We need new blood in DC and giving Trump a chance to bring in competent people is my main goal. We are 20 trillion in debt and the free trade agreements and HB1 visas are destroying American manufacturing and service jobs. I also can't believe anyone thinks illegal immigration is a good idea. Bringing in low skilled cheap labor drives salaries down for hourly and salaried workers.

The 3 things trump will accomplish:

    1. Stop illegal immagration including visa overstays.
    2. Replace Obamacare
    3. Renegotiate our trade deals that will bring costs into line with the trade deficit.

I don't expect trump to shrink the size of government directly but it will drive him crazy as being a business owner so it may shrink by firing the incompetent people. I also have to admit that I am one of the conservatives that is sick of the Rinos running the party, so Trump destroying the establishment makes me smile. the Republican Party can either listen to its base or go the way of the Wigs.

Viva revolution. This is the last chance to bring the USA back from the brink of European socialism.
