Here's 4 reasons to choose Cruz over Trump.
Think of the debates with Hillary. Do you want a conservative who challenges liberal ideas with conservative ideas, or a guy who will call her fat and ugly and agree with her on the issues? (or get destroyed on the issues because he hasn't thought them through yet).
Isn't it also why he hasn't been accepted as the anti-Trump?
Look, I'm all about calling the establishment out, but I think Cruz's disposition has, ultimately, cost him the nomination. His divisiveness has kept those who would love to stop Trump from jumping on the bandwaggon.
Ideologically, he's not all that different than Rubio, yet only 47% of Rubio supporters say they'll vote for Ted. I think the people have been crying for obstruction and demolition. Cruz has to show he can be more than that.
I'll gladly vote for the guy if he gets the nod...I'm just opining on why it took so long for him to become the obvious alternative. Set me straight. I lot of folks that I know and respect are all about Cruz, so I hope I'm missing something.

I think he was an unknown. People knew who Donald Trump was. They knew Rubio a little bit. Ted Cruz just got into national politics 3 years ago. Trump effectively labeled him as a liar and people don't really know who Ted Cruz is, so it worked. People think he treated Ben Carson unfairly too, and don't blame CNN for it. And politicians don't like him, so they think he is unlikeable without understanding that that actually means he's on their side and not the politicians side.
I love Cruz but guess what, HE CANT WIN! There are not enough constitutionalist conservatives for him to even be the nominee. In a 2 way race, he still loses to Trump. I guess you guys just don't see it.
I like Trump and will not be ashamed to have voted for him. He is the only one left that can beat Hillary and have fun doing it. Who knows, when Trump is president and he doesn't do all the liberal things you think he will, maybe you will end up liking him.
I would rather go down fighting her with principles. She will have to earn it with ideas. Either conservatism wins or we are no longer that nation. Trump will have to beat her with personality. The media will effectively have him as Hitler II by July and it's over. Hillary will be the reasonable candidate against a nutjob.
It will be a nutjob against a verified liar. I will go with the nut job and you should also. Trump is going to destroy the myth of Bill Clinton along with Hillary. Hillary reminds me a lot of Bob Dole running because it was his turn. You do realize Trump beat Hillary in number of votes earned in Ohio and Missouri in the primary. That bodes really well for Trump as he actually is running against quality people. That Hillary cant vanquish Berny says alot about her chances. No one is excited for Hillary.
I hope you are right and he will be good, but you have idea if you can make this statement or not yet. You have no idea what he will do-he doesn't even know. He just makes crap up as he goes along. You should be terrified by the amount of money he has pumped into liberal candidates in prior years.
Trump is getting about 1/3 of the Republican vote (if you include the Democrats and Independents who are voting in Republican primaries). 2/3 of Republicans don't want him (or more if you don't include the Democrats and Independents who are voting in Republican primaries). No one is excited for Hillary, but the media will have people worked up to vote against Trump. He will be a scary guy who will destabilize the country and the world, who MUST be stopped. Even if Trump wins, conservative lose though.

Actual votes:
Trump: 7.5 million
Cruz: 5.5 milion
Rubio and Kasich combined: 6 million
Other 13 combined: 2 million
That's 7.5 million for and 13.5 against.
Hypothetical polls have Cruz beating Trump 54-41 and Rubio beating Trump 51-45.

Trump said this twice in debates:
"I would be neutral in the Israel-Palestinian conflict, but trust me, I'm very Pro-Israel because I was named Grand Marshall of the Manhattan Jewish parade."
I can't stand behind that kind of nonsense. Sorry.
