I'm not judging folks who support Trump. That's fine. If you think he's the best hope to beat Hillary, that's fine too. I'm even okay with folks saying that it's more important to beat Hillary than it is to vote your conscience. I can understand all those things.

What I can't understand is folks trying to act like Trump is a conservative. He's not...he never has been. If you think the issue with the GOP is that they've strayed from conservatism, I certainly can't see how Trump is a corrective for that.
I am curious who you think that is? I don't see that there is any other realistic chance of winning anything. Trump is truly the only thing that can turn around the insanity. Do I like him- nope, not at all. However, I do believe we will be safer and the changes he will make will make us in a better place than we are today. There is no other vote to make, so I am voting my beliefs. Quite frankly, I don't see how you can choose anything else. I have no thought that he is what I would choose - I supported Cruz in the primary. Trump to me is the ONLY option.

They were all Obama supporters 8 years ago though. They were wise enough to vote against him in his re-election however. That falls directly in line with who I think Trump is. They don't have principles that guide them. How can someone vote for Obama and for Romney? What does that say about them? Tells me they don't have a political clue.

Left wing too. (Bernie was the anti establishment candidate on your side... the Communist choice over the Socialist candidate).

Or it could be that they know how to admit they made mistakes. Of course, it also could be that they blithely follow their father's lead.

I'm curious about people's thoughts on this article:

Did Trump's campaign really not see the criticisms over these things coming?

    1) the similarity of Mrs. Trump's speech to Mrs. Obama's 2008 speech; and

2)An unauthorised use at the Republican Convention against our wishes - Queen

He's probably right about Trump, but he lost credibility with, “I genuinely believe that if Trump wins and gets the nuclear codes there is an excellent possibility it will lead to the end of civilization.”

Over sensational. He's been watching too many movies where some nutcase breaks into the Pentagon and launches nukes before the Generals can get to him. Now, he may go nuts with the drone attacks in Syria if they let him, but he's not going to end civilization.

Don't think this matters to undecided voters, only liberals and Anti-Trumpers, who probably caused it. The more it is discussed, the better for Trump.

Then, I'll keep discussing it. How do you think liberals or Anti-Trumpers caused speechwriters/Melania to use passages from Michelle's speech? Or the campaign to use a band's song without authorization?

If you want to be lumped in with the ER's, I don't care. Both groups are as responsible for our ills as are the Democrats.

Thanks for adding fuel to the Trump Train. It won't run out, just gain momentum.

Either the speechwriter(s) steered her to those words on purpose to get the Salon to talk about it or it was an honest mistake. She definitely is not the first public figure to be accused of plagiarism and joins the ranks of both Obama's and HillBilly.

As for Queen, sue if you don't like it.

That speech had to be an inside hit job. Melania actually Rick-rolled the viewers ... "He will never give up and he will never let you down." That had to be intentional.

Did Michelle write The 7 Habits of Highly Successful People? If not, I think her speech was plagiarism.

I think it should be mentioned that much of the media of the left is completely lacking any mention of the minorities and women at the RNC (not including protestors). They're all talking of nothing but rich white men. Only certain women get any coverage, mainly to make fun of them for being who they are, flubbing or anything else negative, and most especially for being "anti-women" as defined by them.
