I don't know (or particularly care) what you consider me. In general, I'm conservative. I'm certainly ideologically driven. I've not decided exactly what I'm going to do. The only thing I know for a fact is that I'm not going to vote for Hillary.

Your quoted statement does make me wonder who all you blame for our current problems. If my count is correct, you've named democrats (as a whole), establishment republicans (characterized by pragmatism and moderation...much like DT), and convictional conservatives. Who has had it right?

I am curious who you think that is? I don't see that there is any other realistic chance of winning anything. Trump is truly the only thing that can turn around the insanity. Do I like him- nope, not at all. However, I do believe we will be safer and the changes he will make will make us in a better place than we are today. There is no other vote to make, so I am voting my beliefs. Quite frankly, I don't see how you can choose anything else. I have no thought that he is what I would choose - I supported Cruz in the primary. Trump to me is the ONLY option.

I've been one who has said I wouldn't vote for someone who is pro-abortion. I won't violate my conscience on that despite the practical and realistic ramifications. A convictional conservative MIGHT say that Trump, who has a history of being a big government moderate, is someone that would require them to violate their conscience.

They might also say that they would rather lose this election and have a candidate that they can heartily support on the next go round.

One this is for sure, those who stand to benefit from my vote ALWAYS tell me it's too serious this time to submit a protest vote. The result has been progressively worse candidates. I'm relatively young. I'd like, at least once before I die, to have nominee that I'm proud to vote for.

While it certainly looks like someone intentionally lifted portions of MO's speech, I really couldn't care less. With everything else we have to be concerned with as a nation right now, this is dead last on my list.

I guess at the end of the day though, a third party vote is simply a wasted vote for Hillary. Given 2 choices, I choose the better of the 2, and like it or not, there are only 2 to choose from. Anything else is simply a vote for Hillary. Third party voters are saying you accept more criminal activity, more disrespect of police officers, and an unsafe environment for our children. I hate that anyone is willing to make that choice- I know I will not, and I am absolutely voting my convictions with no regret.

They were all Obama supporters 8 years ago though. They were wise enough to vote against him in his re-election however. That falls directly in line with who I think Trump is. They don't have principles that guide them. How can someone vote for Obama and for Romney? What does that say about them? Tells me they don't have a political clue.

I don't know what they did 4-8 years ago. All I can go by is what they're saying now. I definitely know what you'll get when you vote for Hillary Clinton, 4 more years of Obama and a supreme court that rules the country like a dictator.

Is not a debacle unless it cost them votes. It has drawn attention to something many of us would not have noticed otherwise. I think I'm in the majority of folks who were not upset at all by it.

What I did notice is what a beautiful and gracious person Melania is. That's without comparing her to the USA hating Michelle and the loud, obnoxious, satanic, Hillary.

Everyone on the planet knows that these women don't write a word of what they say in these types of speeches. How in the world did this pass through the team that was tasked with creating it?

Now, maybe I do care that the wife of the other candidate is a pervert, was disbarred for being a general scumbag and was nearly impeached by congress. But I guess that's illogical as well.
