Close....but obummer was supported by the "shadow of power" that bankroll commies. He was also a sitting senator. Yeah, Killary was THE establishment candidate in 2008, true. But obummer wasn't outside of the establishment. It's just that many thought it wasn't his turn yet.

However, it does point to what I think. A Bernie vs. Jeb Bush (or some other Repub) contest would have gotten out the support for Bernie. That's really my point. The libtards would have rallied behind Bernie and by this time in the campaign, post-conventions, you would never know Bernie wasn't their guy. The lamestream media, Hollywood, and all the slimy buttheads from every libtard entity would be singing his praises. Now, secretly, some of them might say, "Bernie Sanders, really?" But outwardly you would see nothing but solidarity.

The country has moved so far left. Marxism is now mainstream in the Democrat party and most voters are Democrats. JFK, a leftist in his time, said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." That would be considered hate speech today. I don't see much hope for this country until it collapses like the USSR did and maybe we can break into 50 nation-states with no federal government. I know how pessimistic that sounds, but we are sliding further and further left generation by generation. Bernie is a flat-out Communist, and he would have been praised by the media and the entertainment industry. The Democrat establishment was embarrassed by him, but the Democrat voters preferred him over Hillary.

A total collapse is about the only way I can see to fix it. And your right about the leftward drift. I was talking to a guy the other day and he told me that Clinton was center-right. All I could do was shake my head and ask him "center of what?"

She's closer to center than Obama and Bernie. She doesn't hate capitalism and the fundamentals of America, at least. But she's still far left.... but I think the voters have driven her that far left. It wasn't long ago that she was against homosexual marriage and illegal immigration.

Exactly. I think Obama and Sanders are revolutionary figures who want to destroy traditional America and form a Communist utopia. Hillary is just a corrupt power-grabber who wants the title and adoration.

Do you really think Trump knows Marxism from Communism from Conservatism? He only knows slogans, marketing, and branding. But he's fabulous at that! Ideologically, he could just as easily run as a Democrat and surround himself with leftists and market that agenda for himself.

    Beware the Useful Idiots
    submitted by Garret Geer
Recall that Hillary did her college thesis on his writings and Obama Writes about him in his books. Saul Alinsky died about 43 years ago, but his writings influenced those in political control of our nation today.Died: June 12, 1972, Cannel-by-the-Sea, CAEducation: University of ChicagoSpouse: Irene AlinskyBooks: Rules for Radicals, Revdille for RadicalsAnyone out there think that this stuff isn't happening today in the U.S.? All eight rules are currently in play. How to create a social state by Saul Alinsky:There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create, a social state. The first is the most important:1. Healthcare Control healthcare and you control the people.
    2. Poverty —Increase the Poverty level as high as possible; poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
    3. Debt Increase the debt to an. unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
    4. Gun Control— Remove the ability to defend themselves from the government. That way you are able to create a police state.5. Welfare — Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).6. Education .— Take control of 'what people read and listen to — take control of what children learn in school.7. Religion —Remove, the belief in the God from the government and schools.
    8. Class Warfare Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent, and it will be easier to, take (tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.Alinsky merely simplified Vladimir Lenin's original scheme for world conquest by communism, under Russian rule, Stalin described his converts as "Useful Idiots. "The Useful Idiots have destroyed every nation in which they have seized power and control. It is presently happening at an alarming rate in the U.S."It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere.'"

I have been watching Trump at rallies and damn he's good at attacking. Finally a fighter in the party of pussies. I so sick of the whimp establishment and slanted media and the PC talk. It is refreshing.

Should "they" be able to restrict my rights?
And who or what determines who is a "terrorist" or an enemy of the state? It won't be long before anyone who is a small government loving person will be considered a radical. Some might argue they already are.

If it's Trump, he'll try US citizens at Guantanamo.
