One can only hope that they will. I think others would follow suit.

If they were going to vote Republican, the platforms would be opposite... Republicans would be calling them undocumented workers who need to be made legal and Democrats would be for upholding the law and closing the border. Clinton's out there saying, "Open the border, no borders at all, let 'em all come on in!" That should tell you something.

I did some research on voting rights. If Trump just wants to legalize the illegals, they would have to pay taxes, but they would NOT have voting rights in federal elections. Most states have laws where they could vote in state/local elections, but not federal elections. Only US citizens can vote in federal elections. I remember that this is how Cruz killed the Gang of 8 Bill.... he took the path to CITIZENSHIP off the table and the Democrats said, "screw that, it's over." Cruz said he was exposing that this was not about the kindness of their heart, but federal elections (more Democrat voters).

So if Trump wants to legalize illegals, I would be fine with that. I think the next push by Democrats would be to amend the Constitution to where legal residents had the same rights as citizens. I could see that getting through a leftist Supreme Court.

Your lack of knowledge of the Constitution is astonishing.

He gets his info, misguided as it is, and talking points from a liberal (which is a misnomer, BTW) blog called "Crooks and Liars." But, he is a Tech guy (I think) which is good.

Naw, look back at old posts. I never said that Summitt was a great hire, White would stay for a long while because "he is building something here" or Dykes would stay because Ruston is a "great place to live".

    Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign

    Question for Trump supporters:

Why do you think his campaign is going so poorly?

Hannity says it's the fault of the #NeverTrump guys, but that seems silly as they have almost no media reach. I personally think he's done a horrible job campaigning (not because he's stupid, but because he was never really trying to win in the first place). I'm sure some will blame the media and, clearly, they don't want him to win. Many of us who thought he would be a poor candidate warned that the media that made him would try to destroy him if he got the nod. We're certainly seeing that, but he seems to have more self-inflicted wounds than any candidate since Sarah Palin. What do y'all think?

Ooops...I forgot the last option: His campaign isn't going poorly, the polls are lying, and people like me are buying the lie.
