I can't see where they had any leverage. Unless we would be completely unable to find a replacement. MAYBE Arkansas with its deep pockets has an easier time replacing a game.

We had plenty of time to find another road game which would not need to be a money game. Possibly could have been the first game of a 2 for 1 A5 or a road game at a desirable G5.

Keep in mind this was his first "real deal" with negotiating (about the same time as the Tyler Summit negotiation)that included cancelling A&M, adding TXTech, Moving Miss State year, and moving Arkansas from LR to Fayetteville.
