I listened to Rush yesterday, and this is why I think it's over: Democrats are fractured among the Liberals and the Socialists, but the Liberals will rally around the Socialist to beat the enemy Republican. Republicans were fractured over Mormonism vs Christianity last year and wouldn't rally behind the Mormon to defeat the enemy Democrat. This year we are fractured over "let's blow the party up" vs. "noooo" and won't rally behind "let's blow the party up" to defeat the enemy Democrat.

Conservatism does not equal Christianity, especially when a Christian's prejudices lead him to help elect a truly evil person.

I'm just saying there were articles written about the lack of enthusiasm of Christians to vote for Romney. There are many Christians who feel that Mormonism is an evil cult and couldn't vote for a Mormon. Another factor could have been that Romney was pro Choice for much of his life, but I remember people saying they couldn't vote for a Mormon. We need everyone to have a chance and we never can rally against the enemy like the Democrats can.

I don't think evangeilcals were not voting for a Mormon in Romney. I think they were bored by him. He refused to attack BHO on the issues.

Maybe, but Democrats would vote for Hitler over unnamed Republican, and we are too picky. (And I'm part of the problem this year).

Nobody and he got the exact same percentage of evangelicals as George W. Bush.

I expect the numbers to be up on Trump voters compared to Romney voters.

I expect the numbers to be down on Hillary voters compared to BHO voters.

It all depends on the swing states IMO.

Let's analyze who wants KKK to win. I ask myself, who could possibly support the Hillster and her policies?

Here's at least a partial list:

    1. terrorists and their sympathizers
    2. gays and lezzies who want special status (ya know, Affirmative Action quotas!)
    3. atheists
    4. those on the guvmint rolls and wanting to stay there
    5. murderers and hardened drug dealers
    6. Wall Streeters
    7. establishment politicians looking to milk taxpayers for personal gain (and that includes both parties)
    8. illegal aliens
    9. upper management of major corporations
    10. globalists

Well, I can stop now. That's just about everybody BUT ME!!!

Too picky? Republican voters of all shapes, sizes, brands, and varieties would've shown up had the republicans actually run a republican this year. They let non-republicans and the MSM seal the deal for a lifelong flip-flopper and leftist. We're about to get what we deserve. Hopefully there will be a solid response.

Romney would look golden right now. He would be beating HRC by double digits. His October Surprise was "binders full of women". We can only dream of that kind of "controversy" right now.

I don't think it was Romney's lack of support from the religious right. The 2013 autopsy specifically noted Romney's low approval among Hispanics. We were supposed to court conservative Hispanics this year and turn them into solid Republicans. And then Trump happened and threw that out of the window.

There's a whole host of demographics that are inherently conservative that the GOP and their head man has done a piss poor job of reaching out to. GWB did well broadening the base. We've been narrowing it since.
