McMullin and Johnson are far from perfect, but both are better than Trump or Hillary. And recent polls in Utah have McMullin only a few points behind Trump and Hillary. He could actually take Utah.

Pushes away everyone that isn't religious or doesn't use their religion as a sword and basis/end all of their political decisions. They get pushed to the more "open" party (yes, I know they're not really open). You conflated the two by speaking of sin and saying conservatism won't flourish because of it. I don't like Trump for many if the reSons you have stated throughout the board.

No, I don't think that article is the main source ubject, but is supporting evidence in something in the argument. But I don't think we're going to get that nuanced and exhaustive on here.

You injected him as a choice. A vote for Johnson means nothing and will not offset a vote for the evil beeotch.

My vote for Trump is a vote against the evil beeotch and hopefully some SC appointees with a brain...and he has many other good qualities while the beeotch has ZERO.

What I'm finding in these last days is most of the never trumpers are pissed off that their elite candidates were too effiminate to get the nomination.

I said conservatism wouldn't flourish unless they rejected both the big government candidates.

I've not seen or heard that one time. Every person that I've read or interacted with in person that might otherwise have voted Republican but feels they can't vote for Trump has specifically stated that it's about his unfitness for the office.

I'm hearing that, but really? Compared to Hillary he is unfit? Nah, what that means is "I'm too cool to vote for Trump." They want to be part of the Kool Kids Klub and they are pissed.

I would not include you, J.L. or several other posters in this class of people because you've been consistent in your views over the years and most were never trumpers before being a never trumper was cool. I believe most of y'all would have, or maybe you did, vote for Ross Perot. Not bad people, just hard headed.

Effeminate? Which candidates were too "effeminate"?

That looks to of been an attempt to not use a certain slang word. Which, if so, would apply to all of them.

Most any guy who attended an Ivy Leage school would qualify. Picture hanging out with them at the camp or at the card table. That's a tell all.

No attempt. It's the way they were raised and educated. They are sissies who've never dug a post hole in their life.

I never said Tulane grads were effeminate...I should have lumped them in though.

Wait. You think Donald Trump has dug post holes?

Rubio had about as average an upbringing as they get. He went to Florida and law school at Miami. He's been criticized for buying a $60,000 boat. Sounds like someone we could all relate to.

Third party? Johnson started as a handy man and built it into a massive construction company. He graduated from New Mexico. And he's climbed Mt. Everest.

Trump's hands are softer than the leather furniture in his penthouse apartment.

You're thinking of the wrong hole.
