Trump trusted Ryan. Ryan let him down, but he has not blamed him for the failure because it is not a failure yet.
As you know my "establishment" candidate was Cruz. I said from the start that Rubio and Ryan were part of the problem. Trump was a better alternative.
Are you not happy about anything Trump has done so far?
Gorsuch is a great pick, but Trump's poor leadership has even that in a tenuous position. You can't insult your way to unity and prosperity.
President Trump is finding out that what led to success for candidate Trump is not what will help him govern. Rubio and Ryan already knew this.
Look, I'm thrilled HRC isn't President, but I believe what we've gotten from Trump is exactly what I feared...all tweets and no leadership.
The stick will be different because Trump is not really a republican. It is up to the house and senate to unify around one vision, and that means including the freedom caucus and the moderates and the RINOS and all the other folks around a common vision and pass bills related to campaign promises for Trump to sign.
Trump is not unlike Bill Clinton in that he is willing to pivot and get stuff accomplished with whichever party wants to work with him. Thus far we have been lucky that the dems have chosen to be demagogues and obstruct everything he is trying to do, because if they reached out to him, they'd get much of what they wanted. Just shows how poor the dem leadership is as well.
In the mean time, he is reversing a lot of EPA and other regulatory stuff done by EO by Obama.

I'm not following him around, and the media are not reporting everything he is doing...nor do I listen to Spicer everyday...so I can't say that I have enough awareness of what all he is accomplishing to have an opinion. He is deregulating, and if he can cut taxes, I'll be happy. No one can "fix" healthcare. He will fail at this, and so would have anyone else. If he is smart, he will blame the republicans whom have had years to come up with the right answer and haven't.

You may be right, but I don't consider "un-excutive ordering" to be leadership. Trump has the authority to act unilaterally on those matters. I'm still waiting to see some success where he has to build consensus and actually govern. I certainly hope I'll be surprised.
