It is amazing to read all of the defensive posts for President Trump. His incompetence and poor decision-making are his responsibility. I am not in anyway defending previous politicians but I do not think they have anything to do with this situation.

I am ready for Mike Pence to be President. Trump is an embarrassment to our country.

He's done more in 6 months with constant distractions that the last USA hater did in 8 years...and you are embarrassed by that? Do you lose sleep at night?

The double standard is certainly real. The problem is that pointing it out will bear no fruit. Trumps supporters need to discourage his bad behavior, and blindly claiming bias only serves to enable more of it.

They dont need to spin his tweets because they're horrible. His tweets implied the existence of TAPES last week with Comey, causing a full news cycle's worth of Nixon Watergate comparisons, and no one in the admin can come out to disown it without calling Trump a liar. Now you have pressure on the house oversight committee (with the drumbeat of accompanying media speculation) to subpoena tapes that probably don't exist! Why on earth would he bring up tapes?

Speaking of fruit, we were supposed to be discussing the AHCA in the Senate and tax reform in the House during the last two weeks. Trump's bungling of Comey's firing, and his twitter contradicting the official White House narrative has torpedoed any chance of that happening. If we can't get legislation out of a republican presidency, what's the point?

It's being worked on by those who actually know what they are doing while the rest enjoy the cluster circus going on between the WH and the media.

Time is short, and the congress has long since ceded power to the executive to drive the legislative bus.

With each unforced error, Trump makes it more difficult for anyone to jump on his bus.

Yep. Republicans in Congress see that the administration is rapidly spinning out of control and they are making the political calculation to determine whether they can afford to go against Trump. They are getting pressure in their town halls, but trump has survived so many snafus that would have killed other politicians. A certain portion of Trump's base has hunkered down and will clearly tolerate anything and everything he does, but at some point that is all he will have - and that is not enough to carry some of these republicans in their midterms.

In Trump's defense - I am not sure he knew what the job was, but he thought it was easier.

But seriously, why does that matter anymore?

Today's tweets tacitly confirm the WaPo story and yet again undermine his comms staff and McMaster, just like with Comey. He's made liars of his entire communications team twice in the last week on a grand scale.

Someone in the White House needs to yank the twitter away from him before we lose any hope of getting a marginally conservative agenda through the congress.
    NO PROBLEM?

No, duh. He has the right to disclose classified information. And people aren't saying he disclosed sources and methods - which is pretty much the only thing McMaster and Tillerson have denied.

I don't know how you figured the admin is spinning out of control. It's poorly managed and he's squandering political capital, but the liberal wet dream of a Trump impeachment ain't happening.

I didn't say impeachment. Even Pelosi isn't advocating that. But he keeps undercutting his administration at every turn creating a credibility vacuum.

Ray, I wonder why your FoxNews article didn't include this quote...
