At a quick glance, I haven't seen this developing story posted on here, and I'm somewhat hesitant to post it because even after being absent for probably half a year or more, I'm fairly confident I know the way this discussion will go, and which way each poster will steer his canoe. The reason I feel compelled to post this is I didn't realize how terribly uninformed I've become in the "race conversation" particularly the changing terminology considering I have always been particularly sensitive to this narrative in our country's history. Anyway, I'm just curious if anyone else on here has been following this incident at this campus and how "out of hand" it has gotten?

I think youre right about this threads future.

It seems that instead of repairing the damage done by (real racism), we doubled down on identity politics and now that's backfiring. Simple as that.

I think you're right. After doing a bit more research on the racism conversation, I've become embarrassed at how naive I've been about the motivations of some who say they want real conversation, but actually don't.
