Hey Salty and Guiss...this is for you. You guys both have made statements about this in the past. You need to watch:

And here is an excellent presentation of some truth on racism from a black man.

Pelosi says the democrap party is the party of statue removals. Well, there ya go! The 'craps have found their calling. They are so pathetically devoid of intellectual contributions that this is all they have.
And, I love this. All around the country 'crap mayors and others are saying statues must be removed in the interest of public safety. Oh? And who is it that engages in violence and vandalism but the libtards themselves. These mayors are saying: if we(libtards) don't remove the statues, then we(libtards) will riot and tear them down. This warrants one of these:![]()
Why are you changing the subject, RD? What do either of those posts have to do with what Trump said or whether those statues were installed to suppress black people?
I am not a Democrat and I have only voted for a Democrat once - to try to save our country from the existential danger posed by a Trump presidency.
Even Penn Jilette who had been one of the most vocal critics of the idea that "a vote for a third party is a wasted vote", voted for Hillary this time.
Remember when:
"Our new government is founded upon exactly the opposite idea; its foundations are laid, its cornerstone rests, upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery or subordination to the superior race is his natural and normal condition. This, our new government, is the first, in the history of the world, based upon this great physical, philosophical, and moral truth. This truth has been slow in the process of its development, like all other truths in the various departments of science...."

Vice President of the Confederacy

You can also look at the declarations of secession by each state and most mention slavery.
Do you believe that we should also remove any and all memorials to these men: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson, Martin van Buren, William Harrison, John Tyler, James Polk, Zachary Taylor, James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, and U.S. Grant?
They all have two things is common. Most of these men had both in common at the same time. I'll bet you can guess what those two things are.
Lol. Fine, I don't have a comment about the videos because they aren't particularly relevant to anything I am concerned about. BUT, I must warn you, the use of a black man's opinion to support an opinion that is much more widely held in white communities is a conservative trope that only carries weight within the conservative bubble, and his race carries zero evidentiary weight for people that are evaluating the merits of his argument rationally.
Sure, remove them and put them in a museum somewhere. I think the way we put other people on pedestals (literally and figuratively) is a bit silly.
But I also must warn you that slippery slope type arguments are based on logical fallacy and are about as weak as the minority figure supporting a majority viewpoint argument device.
