No more shameful than you pointing it out as an example in order to further your hate argument.

They are here illegally. It is illegal for them to be here. Get it?

It is very easy to make them legal if Trump was interested in doing so. You have to be heartless to not see the imperative in making them legal. The alternative is to make people who know no other home and who were brought here by no choice of their home leave (or at a minimum not allowed to have a job). What if you were a dreamer? How would you feel about the issue if you were illegally brought into the country as a child and you had no other home?

    I am a dreamer!

I dream of winning the lottery! Of Tech winning national championships in every sport! And, something involving Jennifer Anniston...ahem.

What can Trump do about my dreams?!!

As for dem other so-called dreamers...I could be a little more sympathetic toward them if they would stop protesting in the street, with nasty signs about various people and the good ole USA in general.

As it is, as I've stated, I do support a pathway to citizenship for them. Just wish they would be a little more humble about asking for it.

Will they stay if they are granted a path to citizenship? Paying taxes on the same wage they earned as illegals won’t do them any good. How long will it take for them to work their way up to being self sufficient if their take home pay is far less than today?

Or if they pledge to do 2 years minimum in the Military or become a first responder for 2 years minimum (if not their parents or themselves pay a $5,000 fine for each of those 2 years), learn and test in the english language as well as pass all test required for citizenship.

They do pay taxes today because DACA enables them to work. If DACA isn’t extended or they are not made citizens, they are essentially derived of an opportunity to take care of themselves. They will have to move to a foreign country where they may not have family and some may not know the language.

Go sit at the border and watch thousands come over just like that every day. So you finally see the need for the wall....it's to protect the poor ILLEGALS from having to move to a foreign country where they may not have family and may not know the language.

He is offer in to 1M more than the socialists are asking for. So he needs to go back to the 800K and just give in (Like Obama didn't do)? It's heartless of you not to want to allow the other 1M in.

In that case, I see no issue. Build a wall to help with security. Give DACA a path to permanent residency. Ship out those not covered by DACA. Done.

Not what our fellow Dawg wants. He wants all DACA in with no conditions. Something he didn't want before Trump was elected.

Guisslapp,Obama/Hillary and the libs are heartless as they could have accomplished during Obama's/Pelosi's/Reid's reign of terror.
But they were already in power and in fact don't give a rat's arse about the dreamers except for the votes, which they didn't need at the time.

I have been in favor of DACA (and a pathway to citizenship) before Trump was in the picture. I have been helping folks fill out DACA forms for years.

Then you sir were part of the problem as they were suppose to adhere to "receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and to be eligible for a work ...". Many just disappeared and never worked. And if they did they never paid taxes on their earnings but took only cash.

Okay, I assumed because you only became vocal about it recently you were okay with Obama signing the unconstitutional executive order that allowed them to remain. I should have said you were not vocal about it until Trump was elected and refused to extend.
