The ongoing conflict over immigration between the left and the right may well prove to be the proverbial "straw that breaks the camels back". The divide between us on this issue grows larger every day as the Democrats continue to prove that they will stop at nothing, not even constitutional law, to secure the votes of more government dependent immigrants. I know I am at a point where I don't see how the USA can continue to exist much longer, at least not in its present form. New England and the west coast states may desire to live under communism, but they need to understand that the vast majority of those of us that live between New England and the west coast will never surrender our liberty simply because the idiots in those areas would willingly surrender their own.
We're sick and tired of liberal aggression, and we'll never accept the demands of those aggressors for the surrender of our liberty. Throughout history, whenever one group demands long enough that another conform to its views, civil wars have erupted. It's happened in our own nation before, and that's exactly where we're heading again.
I hope cooler heads will prevail and we'll avoid the nasty business of a civil war. It would actually be the first civil war in our nation's history. The first so-called CW, was not one.
Anyway, the best way to deal with issues like this is thru the ballot box....not the ammo box. Trump is president because enough people had had enough of "the swamp" and the socialists who are ruining our country. That's how to get positive change.
[QUOTE=Guisslapp;1690824]This reads like the ramblings of a lunatic. Are you okay?[/QUOTE
I'm fine. You're the one that constantly spouts off like a lunatic with your incessant Trump hate. What I am is sick and tired the crap out of know it all's like you who constantly try to shove your screwed up ideas down the throats of anyone who refuses to bow down to your way of thinking. If and when conservatives in this country start to display the level of violence that liberal democrats have, the civil unrest that will follow will not be pretty. Whether you want to admit it or not, Donald J Trump is the duly elected President of the United States and he was elected by people that are as sick of the DC establishment as I am.
That's not what conservatives do. That's what fascists do. If conservatives are intent on championing conservatism, they should try electing some conservatives. Populists make us feel better for a short time, then their "accomplishments" vanish as what's popular changes.
Time is your friend. Impulse is your enemy. -John Bogle
A man's willingness to defend himself against attack does not make him a fascist. In most cases, it simply makes him a man. Leftist bullying tactics will never work against those of us that are not afraid of the bulling tactics the left tries to use against us. Whether you like it or not, WE have just as much right to our opinions as those of you on the left do. We care no more about what your opinion is than you do about ours. We're two totally different factions and we are completely and totally divided at this point. I have no interest whatsoever in seeing this nation go the way of socialism. In fact, I'll do everything in my power to prevent it from happening. The socialist in this country feel the exact opposite. That's why I think some very rocky times are ahead for the USA.
I say it is you who is being manipulated. If you're honest with yourself, you'll admit that the fake mainstream news media in this country is totally biased against the Trump administration. They spew nothing but pure anti-Trump propaganda, 24/7. Stop believing their lies and think for yourself. The corrupt DC establishment is the real enemy we all face today, and that enemy will not stand the test of time. They've been exposed by President Trump, and enough patriotic members of congress and the military still exist that we are able to fight back against the coup d'e-tat that has been under way ever since the first Bush administration. The election of President Trump caught the A-holes that make up the deep state totally off guard, and now they're fighting for all they are worth to hold on to their power. The fight is on, and it's a fight over the very soul of our nation.
Most don't believe a "deep state" exist or that many in the GOP are leaders of that. It's been obvious for many years.
Resistance to the Trump agenda is not a deep state. It is the result of separation of powers that prevents the executive from having all of the power of government and individuals within all branches and agencies that believe in principles greater than appeasing Trump’s ego - including honesty, integrity, justice, and anti-corruption.
The concept of a deep state is a fiction that Trump tries to leverage because he is a post-turtle and a charlatain that does not know how to work with people and has the attention span of a gnat. All he knows is the media and how to keep people distracted in a 24 hour news cycle and how never to accept blame. He refuses to be held accountable for anything.
Trump uses the concept of the deep state as a boogeyman for his base - people who know as little about how government actually works as he does. People that don’t understand that there are public servants in government, particularly in unelected agency positions, that find passion and personal value in trying to do the right thing regardless of which way the political winds are currently blowing. People that know the constitution only by a select few amendments and not the bulk of the articles defining the relative roles and responsibilities of the branches of government. People who don’t understand the principles and compromises that began with the formation of our government and have continued to evolve to meet the needs of a growing population in a ever-changing world. People who only see the moral value of the beliefs of their tribe and who find those that believe differently to be evil enemies. People that have “mental vulnerabilities” that are easy to exploit.
He accepts responsibility for everything a POTUS is supposed to, and President Trump has repeatedly articulated that. Such as our national security, thus the wall and a rebuilt military, such as the economy, thus the tax cut and renegotiating bad trade deals, etc...He says it's his responsibility to Make America Great Again! and he works everyday to make that happen.
Blame? That implies something wrong happened. He corrects his mistakes all the time. They don't rise to the level of "blame" being attached to them.
Now, what I see as more important, is your only response to my calling you out on your ignorance was another attack on Trump. You made no attempt to defend your ignorant position of there is no deep state. That's because you know there is.
Define “deep state” without hyperbole, please.
