The part that bothers me is the indoctrination process that leans so far left. I can even deal with that, but many/most parents now are lazy and allow their kids to watch and read unfiltered crap. Saying that, I have great hope for the future based on what I see in in Christian circles.

I consider all things within reason. I have a pretty firm grasp on reality. Politics aside, the church has been commanded how to and what to do. It's really pretty simple.
You call everyone not on the Trump Train a RINO or a liberal, so the term has no true meaning. I've articulated my view of conservatism quite a few times.
If you're not competing with ideas, what are you planning to compete with? Don't you see that Obama was a reaction and Trump is the reaction to Obama. It will continue as long as the only goal is winning apart from values. No progress for either side.
The GOP has no long term plan...neither does the left. No one makes arguments anymore, they just buy propaganda spots.

You don't think Trump has a plan? He is actually trying to do EVERYTHING he campaigned on. Not the usual propaganda the RINOs have been running on in hope of not being booted out of the swamp. The argument for the last two years has been "if Trump is for it, we are against it". Trump actually makes an argument for fair trade, jobs,lower taxes, the wall, and most all things hated by the left leaning swamp.
Trump does not equal the GOP. I think he has a plan and I think it looks nothing like promoting conservative ideals for the future. It's power and popularity (that's what it's always been for Trump...you know that).
The GOP is just riding the wave. They were more liberal when that got them the W and they were more conservative when that worked. On this, I think, you and I agree.

I and most other true conservatives like that Trump is not the GOP. I don't believe that it is all about power and popularity with him, but that is the common theme with the never Trumpers.
When is the last time the GOP was conservative? It has been almost 30 years. The GOP ran weak candidates in Dole, McCain, and Romney. None of them were conservative with a conservative message. Voters got tired of it when the GOP served up more RINOs like Kasish, Rubio, and Bush with the true conservatives (Cruz) being ignored. Trump literally pooped in their punch bowl and it is WONDERFUL!

Yall do realize that "Republican" and "Democrat" are, in fact, only names, right?

I should clarify that I think MOST politicians are about power and popularity. Trump positions himself as the anti-politician, but that's a trait he shares with most career politicians.
