I tried posting about Ferguson and Holtz when the penalty happened, but the board crashed as usual. That needs to be looked into by the mods.

I knew we were toast when I couldn’t get through. BBB always blows up when we get shellacked (common occurrence under Skip)

READ MY POST ABOVE. ULM will NOT be in the New Orleans Bowl because the SBC announced that it is sending its champion to New Orleans.

ULM now has to beat ULL while Arkansas State loses at Texas State and then beat the Appalachian State-Troy winner to be the SBC champion.

That all can still happen.

Yeah, we need Dsince65 to remind us that Holtz has won 4 bowl games in a row, and at least 7 times every season but one. We also need Dogswin to remind us that J'mar is very good, and Abraham is junk.

Agreed. Even the players look like they could use a change. Fans for sure. We need a young offensive minded coach who can add some energy to our lifeless offense.
And while we’re at it, let’s find a new AD and a new QB!

Isn't it funny that USM came into this season with no idea who would be QBing them this season. Part-time starter Keon Howard transferred to Tulane in August, and the presumed starter for 2018 was Kwadra Griggs. IN August, USM coach Jay Hopson suspended Griggs and everything changed.

You really have to respect the coaching job done by Jay Hopson this season. He took a very ugly USM team in August, and now has them at 5-5, with one game left at UTEP. So USM will likely finish 6-5 (one game was canceled due to Huricanes on the east coast) and make it to a bowl.

All the talk about Holtz makes me wonder how Les Miles is going to do at Kansas. Will Miles turn things around at Kansas, or will they continue to suck?

Les will suck it up at Kansas just like he did at Oklahoma State and just how he did at LSU once he bled off Saban's left overs. I wish LSU still had him because they deserve each other. I just want Louisiana Tech to stop being a stepping stone and get a coach who wants to be the coach and wants to win every game.

Nothing good. Have mentioned conservative playcalling and a couple of drops by receivers as being reasons we didn't get in the end one in the 2nd half. But no mention of the Rockstar missing Toussant no fewer than 4 times, as well as other under/overthrows and continuing to stare down his receivers in crucial situations.

lmao I go on there during game threads because there are still a few people with their heads on straight, but it blows my mind there are people still defending Holtz. I guess they just don't want Tech to excel and are fine being a middling Sun Belt team.
