I made a general comment because of the connections being made to Sri Lanka to the Middle East. It was not directed at you.

You would have known that had you seen that I did not quote anyone.

Like in North Korea and China? They worship the state there, much like you do here. No thanks, I'd rather live around people who are morally grounded.

I see that Kate Smith became the latest unperson in our budding Orwellian world. Even satirical speech from the 1930's is no longer tolerated. I still remember Obama's EPA pushing to fine executives who argued against global warming.....THOUGHT CRIME.

If you move past religion, your religion will be the flavor of the day dictated by fascists.

    Nope.
I told you, "And don't give me the "but the Crusades" bit because those sad and evil individuals (crusaders), many many centuries ago, knew nothing of Christ's teachings and followed nothing of Christ's teachings. Your ability to say that without being tried for heresy was brought to you by the Protestant Reformation and the belief that you answer directly to God. These are the beliefs our nation was founded upon.

    Exactly!

I posted on BB&B over a decade ago that Global Warming (worship of the earth), the killing of babies, pro-homosexuality and being PC would become part of the left's religion.
Now add anti-semitic, anti-white men, coveting of other's wealth and assets, anti-Christianity and haters of Christians as their latest agenda and creed.

    The Left's Religion

Global Warming and worship of the earth
    Killing of babies
    Pro-homosexuality
Only PC thought, printed word, presentations on campuses, all forms of media and speech are tolerated
    Intolerance
Coveting of other's wealth and assets
    Anti-semitic
    Anti-white men
    Anti-Christianity and haters of Christians.

Republicans are proving that religion doesn’t really change that.

The same Protestants that persecuted folks for being “witches”? The same ones that had slaves?

Again Guisslapp you are bringing up events that happened many centuries ago or some a century and a half ago.

And again, these few "knew nothing of Christ's teachings and followed nothing of Christ's teachings. Period!" They only sot which was not taught by Christ and neither was the death they brought taught by Christ." It's the anti-God left that have tried to rewrite history per true bible reading, understanding and believing Christians having caused and inflicted these centuries old wounds.

That said, I will play your game and state that it was Democrats that were all in on the slavery issue and keeping the blacks down and "in their place" ,even to this very day.

Great example of people not following the examples and teachings associated with their religion, but instead following the crisis of the moment and working from a position of group hysteria (grumble grumble global warming).

You mean non-religious people did not have slaves? Yeah, right!

Perhaps you can point to the places in the New Testament where it says persecuting witches and holding slaves are OK. Thanks in advance for your research.

Why limit yourself to the New Testament. Last I checked, Christians believe both parts are the word of God.

But Muslims should get the exact same pass as Christians do when it comes to “following the teachings”, as the majority of both groups contextualize verses to say that they don’t think she be applied in the modern context.

    1) The New Testament via Christ changed how followers of God and Christ act, should act and respond and act and react to mankind and the world in general. Christ came to show God's true mercy and love for mankind and those that sought Him. His sacrifice and gift was designed by God and was totally sufficient.

    2) Not true, as Muslims are killing, torturing and raping women, children and innocents in the here and now/today in mass.
But true bible believing, understanding and practicing Christians are not.

Muslims make a similar distinction. Thanks for proving my point.

BS! there was nothing "evil" about the Crusaders. Where'd you get that propaganda from?
