Allen knew before the UNT game, which begs the question, if you knew Smith wasn’t going to be able to play this week, why didn’t you play Allen more against UNT. That’s just plain stupid.

Agreed. Furthermore, AA didn't even take all the backup snaps. Weston Elliott played too. In that scenario, why wouldn't you get AA all the snaps possible?

Definitely think AA would have benefited more with a full quarter of real game reps last week over any concerns coach would have had about Marshall getting game film of AA playing.
