I don't know you beyond the message board, so I can't speak for you, but there are a host of folks here who would've railroaded Hillary for doing what Trump has done. Good grief...you don't have to look beyond his spending (big government) pre-corona to see that.
His willingness to spend big and run large deficits is horrid. The way he attacks the people HE appointed is horrible (what he is doing to Jeff Sessions is disgusting, and it doesn't matter that Jeff was a horrid attorney general...which I agree he was). His constant tweeting is horrible (but I kind of give him a pass there because NO president has ever been attacked as much as he has).

That said, he is against killing babies (ones that will be ripped from a womb that would be given pain killers if we were to do surgery on them in that same womb). He doesn't call people "bitter clingers" that happen to disagree with him. He is trying to secure the border, at which time we can deal with the millions of illegals we already have here (they will likely be offered some pathway to citizenship once you can make sure that offer would not result in millions of people showing up on our border demanding the same and overwhelming our welfare system).

I did not vote at all in the last election because I KNEW Hillary was an evil POS and I had no idea what to expect from Trump. Now that he is 3 years into his term, I'd say he is infinitely better than the Bush, McCain, Romney big government republicans and equally better than the Clinton, Obama, Kerry dems. I will vote for him this year.

Actually, that's on the white house. They should not have been negotiating directly with senate dems and just ASSUMING the repubs would fall in line (repubs are not like dems in that respect).

What do you think the response would've been to president Hillary's corona virus response?

Regardless, these loans for small businesses likely will not be available this week. Even once this bill passes, assuming it will, it is going to take the banks a moment to figure out how it all works and process all the requests. This is all weeks late.

From me? The same as the one for Trump.

From my perspective, this has exposed the dangers of globalism (for the sake of exploiting the labor in poor nations) when it comes to national security and health. Once this is over, if we do not shore up our ability to make our own medicines and medical equipment, my response will be less forgiving.

All these "shoulda dones" are actually rather annoying. Remember when we "shoulda" killed OBL but Clinton wouldn't pull the trigger? Or how about that British soldier that came face to face with an unarmed Adolph in WW2 and couldn't bring himself to pull the trigger? Well, in both cases a lot of angst could have been avoided, but we have to deal with stuff as it happens and not weeks, months or years afterward. Why didn't FDR heed the warnings about Pearl Harbor?

Heck, Benghazi is only an issue for me because of the despicable lies about a video and the effort to cover it up after the fact.

Yep, this should have been done in October 2019 so it would have been ready as soon as the virus hit.

Or anytime between January and February when we knew it was coming here and SHOULD have known that we would have to go into lockdown. No need to be Nostradamus.

Of all the statements I've seen today this is the one I am in most agreement. Anything related to the security of the nation and the health of our citizens should be contained within the US.

Looks like they've added some additional information to their website: http://ldh.la.gov/coronavirus/
Now showing those in hospital and those on ventilators. About 30% hospitalized and 10% on ventilators.

Off the top of my head I would say no. I think I know what you're thinking, it wouldn't be beneficial to a company's bottom line, that's why its being produced elsewhere (cheap labor, etc.).

For those watching at home, this is what's called a "tautology". It's a logical fallacy of circular reasoning.

X is bad because it is Y. And what makes Y bad? Because it is X.

(Incidentally, dismissing someone's argument as "TDS" is also a logical fallacy. Though I must confess I've been guilty of that one.)

No, not nationalized healthcare.. Look at Italy, Spain, etc. for examples of what nationalized healthcare can do right now. Spain literally has people lying on floors in hospitals. Not enough capacity. We have far better hospital systems than EU.

His spending is probably my biggest policy problem with Trump. He has certainly spent like a drunken sailor. I'm not sure what other actions you would like me to imagine. I can't even imagine Hillary taking some of the actions that Trump took. I suspect I would have a bigger problem with Hillary spending similar amounts to Trump as they would likely be more geared towards truly wasteful spending like planned parenthood and other liberal causes. Now his behavior like calling people names and intentionally calling the virus the "Chinese Virus" just to tick people off are petty and bad. I can agree with you there. That's the point where I have to weigh the alternative and decide if I can live with it or would prefer the alternative.
