Have you ever noticed that Guissy's got an answer for literally EVERYTHING, and he is almost wrong every single time. No exaggeration. If you told him the sky was blue, he would lie his ass off and tell you it's not. That dude is an unemployed psycho.

I am not questioning that the video is legit. I am telling you that Illinois has already addressed the misinformation the video contains. People that circulate the video on social media are not telling you about the correction because it doesn’t support the narrative they are pedaling.

    Re: Covid - 19 - Louisiana Edition

Like other states, I'm sure, Louisiana is getting clobbered by reduced tax revenues. Sales tax collection is way down with the reduced retail and other direct sales' activity. As is hotel tax collection, and of course, so is income tax collection since so many people are not working. Other fees, like building permits and such are also down. In our case the state is also suffering $millions in loss revenue from reduced O&G activity.

The state has released statewide and parish by parish numbers. Natchitoches Parish is particularly hard hit, as we depend heavily on tourism, which has ground to a halt. Natchitoches has a HUGE hotel industry, something like 800+ hotel rooms which normally have an 80%+ occupancy rate. It also has a high hotel tax....

So, while libs celebrate the downfall of America's small businesses...in hopes of creating a new batch of guvmint-dependent folks who will vote for the Dems, yeah baby! And of course, libs rejoice in the struggling economy in hopes it will damage the Orange Man's reelection bid...well, in the meantime state and local governments are taking a pounding and services are being cut. The damage is real and the short-term outlook in particular is grim. It'll get worse before it gets better.

More reason many of us are watching this whole thing with an eye on the flip side of the lockdown. I have posted several times that if they are proven wrong...and by "they" I mean those directly responsible for this virus mess shutdown...Dr. Fauci et al and some of the governors who particularly over-reacted, and all those "researchers" who have poo-poohed every inexpensive and readily available remedy...should pay a huge price. All of their assets should be seized and placed into a pool to reimburse all the innocent Americans destroyed economically by this. Well, it would only be a token reimbursement given the amount of $damage, but it should happen and serve as a warning to those who would place themselves as the "all-knowing" guru and dictate national policy.

Let me hasten to add...IF they are proven wrong. To me that verdict is still out. But, it is looking more and more like a big over-reaction to a "virus hoax." We shall see...

Forgot to mention the cured rate for the state...it's 26K+ which is 76%. That leaves about 8,000 active cases statewide.

LOL! you are so funny. Do you do Stand Up...you should try it. Comics have to be lib because their audiences are mostly libtards. Get up there and rip the bad Orange Man! Even if you're not funny the audience will roar its approval.

You are getting some fake news. The HCQ data does not show it is effective.

BTW, I told you on March 1 that Gilead and Moderna were the ones to watch. So far those are looking like good calls.

The damage to the economy was the result of poor leadership. We have sunk to second tier with Trump while we used to be a world leader in disease response. Azar and Redfield were disaster appointments - driven by Republican purity tests and loyalty rather than competence.

Weak. You should hire writers otherwise your Stand Up Comic career is doomed before it starts.

In response to a FOIA request, Louisiana released an updated list of nursing home cases.

    71% have a case.

Btw, we have the same problem here in Texas. But in true Texas fashion, we do things bigger.

Some of our nursing homes have over 100 cases.

    71% have a case.
In Natchitoches Parish half the total cases and more than half the deaths all come from the same nursing home...the one with the lawsuits filed against it. Statewide about 40% of the deaths come from nursing homes. This further illustrates the true nature of this whole virus "crisis." While it is tragic so many elderly folks in such facilities have been particularly vulnerable...and the reasons for that are obvious...it does shed the light of truth on this "horrible, runaway, out-of-control" virus.
