Re: Moats
You don’t have to be black to run into a police officer having a bad day. I don’t want to post a long description of the incident, short summary. I was speeding doing 45 in 35 zone at 2 am and was stopped, I wasn’t confrontational but the officer pulled his gun and if the shift supervisor had pulled up and de escalated the situation I’m not sure what would’ve happened. I wasn’t drunk or under the influence of anything. Because of what happened the shift supervisor just told me to leave which I did .
I can tell you when he pulled his gun I didn’t know what was going to happen and I had both hands on the car .
There are bad people in any organization (2%) but 98% are good.
The point is we need some changes I just hope they don’t go so far that no one wants to be a policeman.

Re: Moats
Good post. I can completely empathize.
Your point stands. We do need changes
