China Virus hospitalizations are going up because the old and sick are getting the virus, not because healthy people did not wear a "face covering". The old and sick should stay home.
You are being silly. There is a huge upswing in otherwise healthy people getting and spreading the disease which makes it all the more likely that someone that is older and less healthy will get it.
Old people staying home are getting it because people that live with them or take care of them are getting it.

There is a huge upswing because we are testing more. Are you denying that? It's interesting that the China Virus Nazis are now starting to say test kits are hard to come by. They can't decide if testing is a good thing or a bad thing now. Also, the tracing deal was a huge fail.
...and they are out if full force, oblivious to the fact that they are in danger.

I hope (but doubt it) we get a real, scientific (non-political, unbiased) analysis of this whole pandemic some day. Maybe a few years from now when this is no longer a political football, REAL science will provide a report. But, even then I doubt we'll ever see the real numbers. Hospitals have been "cooking the books" on declaring C-19 as the cause of the death just to get paid that bonus. No way, even years from now, will they honestly admit to that, out of fear of having to pay the money back, or at least damaging their reputation. And of course those in the medical field of epidemicology (whatever that term is) who either are anti-Trump and have happily gone along with promoting the crisis hoax and/or were (are) seeking a grant to study it, won't admit to cooking their numbers either.
The China Virus is real and it does pose a threat. But, we will NEVER know the real truth (facts) because even science trying to do study it legitimately will have to depend on bogus data provided from the sources mentioned above. I suppose dead bodies could be exhumed and a proper autopsy performed to determine the true cause of death. I guess millions of people could volunteer for a study, give blood, so a truer picture of the infection rate could be determined. Short of anything like that, we will never know. And that presents a new dilemma...what happens the next time a virus begins somewhere with a potential to become pandemic? Will "governments" over-react and immediately order lock downs and wreck economies again? Will someone, like a "medical expert," recommend some initial protocols and the population yells back, "No way! Not again!" This is what happens when politics interferes in real science.
Just look at the environmentalist whacko movement...it has wrecked the real science of "environmental science" and distracted us away from real problems. Don't want that to happen in medical science too.
Define "huge upswing in hospitalization". You are confusing lack of ICU beds with China Virus ICU admits. There are fewer beds because people are being admitted with things other than China Virus.
Again, are you denying the increase in testing is why the positive rate it up? For weeks you ranted about all the uncounted asymptomatic carriers out there. Now they are being counted and you claim them as part of your tally that says, "Orange Man Bad...World coming to and end!"
BTW, some labs in Florida are reporting at or near 100% positives of all those tested. Of course that is BS, but knowing how corrupt our Governor is, how many labs continue to exaggerate the numbers here in Louisiana? Not confirmed, but hearing that people who did not test, but filed paperwork to test, have been notified they were positive.
5 times more people hospitalized with COVID in Texas in the last month is a huge upswing. Has nothing to do with testing.
When a testing positivity rate goes from less than 10 percent to 15 percent, while you are doing more tests, the increased positivity rate of your tests shows that you have an upswing in infection in your population... and that you are not doing enough tests.
This is all very basic stuff that you should understand.
