Smartmatic voting system was developed for Venezuela after Chavez didn't like an election result years ago. A Lou Dobbs video expose on this from 2006 while Dobbs was still at CNN has surfaced. Must be true since Dorsey has panicked and ordered it to be labeled disputed on Twitter. Smartmatic was sold to Sequoia, and Sequoia was sold to (wait for it)
Dominion Voting Systems in 2007.

From witnesses present, in Venezeula the system was taken offline to in the middle of the night to "fix" the results as ordered by Chavez. Very similar to the several states (not coincidentally with Dominion machines) that all suspended counting at the same time during the early morning of November 4.
Dominion machines have all kinds of backdoors up to and including the ability to file all ballots scanned as questionable where they require manual review before being included in totals. Exactly why Texas rejected that system three times including twice last year.
Powell's full criminal investigation will take too long to have much impact in the next three weeks as required before the Electoral College is scheduled to meet. But it will likely have the most long-lasting consequences to reform the entire process of how our elections are conducted.
