So the "Troops" that were protecting Congress were actually sleeping in the Capitol in the Senate cafeteria. After a day of being thanks, pictures taken and hands shaken by members of Congress, they have been kicked out to sleep in the parking garage. Many of the troops "feel betrayed".

Trump heard of this and welcomed all of the troops over at his place.

Typical elitist BS. Just wait until sleepy Joe sends them off to die in another pointless war. That’s coming soon.

That’s the global call. The “globe” is more important than the USA

No it hasn’t. The guy is an old boob.
Now on to the next topic as Biden and Pelosi are really PO’ing their own Catholic Church. First the Bishop of SF per Pelosi’s anti- abortion voters and now Biden ‘s stance on the below.

Just curious, why did Biden pick 400k as the benchmark for being rich? Does he think people that make around that amount are lazy/family kickbacks/white privledge?

he also said it would be retroactive as well. Not sure what that means but it can’t be good

A follow up question. Most of the millionaires in this country inherited their wealth. The earn no money. Why would you punish the people that are trying so hard to be rich and break threw the middle class threshold?

Because you can’t control and manipulate rich people. They don’t depend on you for healthcare, transportation, housing, childcare etc...

OMG! I've been preaching this for years. How in the hell did income become synonymous with wealth!!!!!

Taxes on high earners only discourages people that are normally the most productive from being so productive and creates a wall between the truly wealthy and the non wealthy that becomes virtually impossible to cross. It creates an aristocracy of wealth...and people are STUPID enough to accept this! It doesn't "spread the wealth around" like our communist leader once said, it merely takes money from a productive person and transfers it to the government where it is wasted.

Those who have not had the opportunity to accumulate wealth in the past are the most impacted.

The old sin of coveting and greed for what somebody else has or has earned. “What’s yours is there’s”. Plain and simple. Welcome to socialism in America, on the edge of pure communism, under the Harris/Biden/Obama world of never creating anything of value themselves and living on government tit their entire lives.

Are you advocating a wealth tax? That is what Elizabeth Warren advocated.

Truthfully, combined with REAL spending cuts (not just reductions in annual increases), a wealth tax is the only way to start to get a handle on the national debt. That is, if we are serious about actually doing something about the debt. Where would that line be drawn, such as $10 million+, $5 million+, $3 million+ I don't know, but combined with real spending cuts it would be relatively easy to determine that mark. Well, that is based on the desired timetable, such as we want to retire the debt in 10 years, 20 years, whatever...

U.S. National Debt Clock : Real Time (usdebtclock.org)

Unfortunately the debt has grown so large, approaching $28 trillion, it would take some serious spending cuts, tax increases, and time, lots of time!

    Never.

Government has NO RIGHT to have a accounting of what you own or the value thereof. With idiots like we have in government now, just imagine how such information could be abused (much like I don't want them to have my DNA or medical information either..they are morons that cannot be trusted with anything).

How about a simple transaction tax, or value added tax, with luxury items being taxed at a higher rate than normal stuff like most food and clothing. I would be for eliminating the income tax completely. It's just counterproductive. It discourages work and productivity.

And like d80 said, probably a good idea to stop spending on STUPID things (things that the person that actually worked for the money would consider a poor use of resources).
