The US government has way less impact on the industry than the Saudi and Russian governments. Probably also less impact than the Chinese, Indian, Brazilian, Venezuelan and Malaysian governments. We are one of the few places that hasn’t nationalized oil production.

If you get into this industry, government manipulation of the price should be the expectation.

You sound like you want O&G industry nationalized in U.S. Also U.S. being energy independent and not dependent on Middle East Oil has bigger impact on price.

No I don’t sound like that. You just prefer to argue against strawmen.

Your quotes come across casting the US in a negative tone/light compared to other countries who have nationalized their O&G industry. US Energy Independence of ME Oil is biggest impact for US Consumers.

No they don’t. You just read that tone into it.

Lawmakers Call On Biden To Cancel $50,000 Of Student Debt Immediately

    Whizy KimThu, February 4, 2021, 1:03 PM

This morning, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rep. Alma Adams (D-NC), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Rep. Mondaire Jones (D-NY) held a press conferencereintroducing a resolution that calls on President Biden to cancel up to $50,000 of federal student loan debt.
“Canceling student loan debt is the single most effective executive action that President Biden can take to kick start this economy,” said Sen. Warren. The Higher Education Act of 1965 gives the president the authority to forgive student loan debt by issuing an executive order, and the Biden administration has signaled that they are open to the idea. “Canceling student loan debt is good for you whether you have student loan debt or not because it is good for our economy,” Warren continued. Roughly 45 million Americans currently carry about $1.7 trillion in student debt.

I don't think it will "kick start" the economy as they believe it will. This teaches people that they do not need to be accountable for the contracts that they sign.

All 50 dem senators just show down budget amendment that would bar covid funding to unopened schools...

    quote:

    Burgess Everett
    @burgessev
Blunt's amendment to bar covid relief funds from going to schools that have vaccinated teachers and won't reopen fails, 50-50

So even if all teachers are vaccinated, schools don't have to reopen and will still get $$$$$. It's not about the kids... never has been about the kids..

Nope! That was true maybe a decade ago but not now. The USA is the Saudi of oil and gas now. We don’t need foreign oil and natural gas!!! We have all we need! The liberal Dems are our own worst enemy and they want to go back to your above nations and Islam driven OPEC calling the shots.

You are clueless on this topic as with most science issues as well.

    Speaking of science...

Wow! Biden is rejecting the recommendations of the CDC in favor of teachers' union. And of course, Goosey et al here are absolutely okay with it. If libtards didn't have double standards they'd have no standards at all.

BTW, Natchitoches Parish schools have been operating pretty much as normal, with some modifications of course, since August...as have all the daycares, and not one single incident to report. Of course we know how intelligent and diabolical this China virus is, it will leave you alone in a Target's because that company supports democraps, but it will savagely attack you in a church or a small business. Point is, these blue cities and states have no reason to fear it invading their schools.

    FOLLOW THE SCIENCE JOE!

States are starting their constitutional pushback through valid use of the 10th Amendment against Xiden regime EOs. More states will follow North Dakota's lead.

One thing I found odd from the Super Bowl. When the most popular POTUS in American history came on the screen, the only noise I could hear was a few scattered boos. Other than that, no one seemed to know or even care that him and his wife were speaking. You would think someone that received 80+ million votes would have been greeted with great applause, but instead mostly crickets...
