That's silly. The reason the AR is more lethal in a mass shooting context is because of his hi magazine capacity. Good luck finding a 30 round mag for a 30-06. That's the same reason most LEO's shoot .40SW instead of .45ACP...because of magazine capacity. The less you have to reload the more lethal you are in a combat situation.

I'd like to have a fully-auto BAR, of WWII vintage. Didn't have a drum mag, but did have a 20-round clip (magazine). Always liked that weapon, such as Ben Aflack carrying one in Saving Private Ryan.

Today most people who have "booths" at gunshows have FFL. It still doesn't cover the loophole of private sales.. you are missing my point. It talks about "gun shows".. I can sell D80 a weapon without having to do a background check etc. One private citizen to another. If we meet up at a gunshow.. ok.. we drive to the local church parking lot or grocery store and make the sale of the gun. I do not have to do background checks.

I don't understand this post.. why would Biden put pressure on the FBI to look into his own son's criminal behavior? We know he has had FBI and Secret Service provide cover in the past with regards to the handgun that was dumped in the trash.
