That's what I thought. Earlier, ESPN had the Bama/NC State game at 2pm, but now shows 1pm Schedule | Watch ESPN

Is this going to be the most "in demand" ticket for a sports event in Tech's history of athletics?
I think it's going to be very hard for non-season ticket holders, especially those that are not LTAC members to get decent seats...
I've already had 11 requests from friends wanting to know if I had any of my tickets available or if I could purchase tickets for them -
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Going to be a true SRO crowd. Great for Tech...but, I posted we should have done something different with the new stadium. Here ya go!![]()
Already hearing there will be no chairbacks left by tomorrow.
The smallest regional capacity site by 2-3K easily. Every Tech game will be a sellout. RF and LF full. Next time we host they might want to consider temp bleachers down RF line. I know the park was built to be intimate all season. I'm sure season tic sales may be complete sell out for next season which may be first time in history of program & is a good problem to have.
Not sure what the capacity is for RF berm but it is not unlimited. Guessing it will be sold out also with all session purchases by tomorrow.
SO why again did we not build a little bigger stadium? Just 500 more seats? BEAUTIFUL facility, impeccable but too small. 1400 chairback seat correct? Went to games in old stadium with over 3K in attendance and definitely 2500. Why we thought 1000 less was good is still beyond me.
I know, this thread has been beat to death but if you plan to host regionals then dont build the smallest regional host site in the country OR add some temp seating. So for the fan that would have come to the regional but did not get to experience it because no seats - doesnt that ultimately work against us. Would we rather look more full during the regular season or have some room for potential growth that is inevitable when you host a regional, and the experience of being at the game creates more future routine tic sales.
This year against Arkansas was the first time I've seen SRO since the last time we played Arkansas.
Saturday against USM, there were plenty of extra seats to be had.
The stadium will be sold out and full of Tech fans other than those tickets we are required to make available to visitors.
USM has hosted a conference tournament and at least one regional. They had plenty of room left and bargain priced tickets for the CUSA tournament. Not sure about the regional, but I'm betting it was not SRO.
