You are confused. The problem is not with affidavits as a form of proof. The problem, in the context of the election challenges, was that even if you accepted the statements of fact in the submitted affidavits as true, they failed to establish election fraud. Instead, those affidavits reflected a poor understanding by the affiants as to what the actual proper voting and canvassing processes are and opinions, which are not generally treated as evidence except in the narrow context of expert evidence on scientific matters.Originally Posted by techman05

You are the one not keeping up. We are talking about people you claim aren’t smart enough, wealthy enough, or care enough to get an ID. Those same people have to produce a picture ID(drivers license, passport, or state issued ID) so they can drive, in order to get alcohol, pay with a credit or debit card(yes, I get asked for ID all the time), buy a bus, train, or plane ticket, open a bank account, apply for a loan or any government assistance, buy a cell phone, purchase tobacco, rent a hotel room, secure a permit for a rally or protest, and even to purchase some OTC meds at WalMart. So, why is it so hard to secure something that cost $38(La DL) every 6 years, $18(State issued ID) every 4 years, or a passport($110 for 10 years)?????
