I think this is a pretty fair critique of some of the response on the left to the election and some misplaced priorities. It's fine to take issue with the details of our electoral process, but it's possible to go too far with that. It just adds to the instability.

There was a serious challenge to the workings of a democratic transition, for sure, but it did not come from these institutions. Why are we asked to see them as the problem in need of urgent repair?
